Eurostar is Now Offering Tickets From London to the French Alps

Skiing, anyone?

Great news for ski lover, Eurostar has just opened sales for connecting journeys from London St Pancras International Station to the French Alps. Tickets are now available for travel from 13th December until 3rd January 2021. Travel for the remainder of the ski season, between 4th January and 28th March 2021 will be on sale from Thursday 5th November.

Travelling from London St Pancras International directly to Paris by Eurostar, you will then connect to a high-speed TGV service to Chambéry, Albertville, Moûtiers, Aime-la-Plagne, Landry or Bourg-St-Maurice.

These Alpine stations are just a short journey to many of Europe’s top ski resorts including Courchevel, La Plagne, Tignes, Meribel and Les Arcs. Travelling by train avoids unnecessary airport stress and time-consuming taxi or coach transfers to the mountains. Add to that the fact that train travel to the Alps is one of the most environmentally friendly choice taking travellers from city centre to the slopes and you’re on to a winner.

In these uncertain travel times, it’s also good to know that all Eurostar fares are now available to exchange with no fee, up to 14 days before departure. The flexible fares apply to all bookings until the end of March 2021 and are valid for any dates of travel at the time of purchase.

Both on board and in stations, Eurostar has introduced new hygiene measures to provide customers with a comfortable and safe experience. A new seat map ensures travellers are seated at a safe distance apart respecting social distancing guidelines.

Trains are deep cleaned before every journey, and cleaning teams are on board to regularly disinfect high contact areas. All travellers must wear a mask on board and in stations, in line with government regulations.

Tickets are available from trainline.com or by calling 03432 186 186.
