Belmond is offering four great new seaside rail journeys on the British Pullman and we couldn’t be more excited.

Who needs to go on a rail journey abroad this summer when Belmond are intent on spoiling us? Lucky guests on the British Pullman will get the chance to travel to the ‘Great British Seaside’ by train this summer.
With the train reopening on 19 May 2021, guests will be invited to get on board at Victoria Station. From here they will visit the iconic seaside towns of Margate, Broadstairs, Whitstable and Hastings.
‘We wanted to celebrate the reopening of the British Pullman by creating some exciting new journeys which will allow friends and family to come together and enjoy a breath of fresh seaside air,’ says Gary Franklin, Vice President, Trains & Cruises, Belmond.
A Great Rail Day Out

On the round-trip journey from Victoria Station guests will enjoy a sparkling bellini and a three-course brunch before enjoying a visit to their seaside town. On board at the end of the day, guests will be treated to a delicious three-course dinner on the journey home.
New rail journeys on the British Pullman

Whitstable – On 13 August guests can enjoy a day out at one of Kent’s most famous seaside towns. Enjoy shopping on the lively high street, a picnic on the beach and a chance to sample the famous oysters at The Whitstable Oyster Company before heading back to the train.

Broadstairs – On 21 August the British Pullman will travel to Broadstairs. Here guests can enjoy fresh seafood at the picturesque harbour, relax on one of seven sandy beaches and take a stroll on the clifftop walk.

Margate – On 19 June the train will travel to vibrant Margate. Buzzy and arty, this famous seaside town offers visitors the chance to visit some great sights. Start at the Turner Contemporary gallery, then eat fish and chips on the harbour. You can then stroll around the picturesque Old Town. And you can even visit the mysterious Shell Grotto or take a ride at Dreamland.

Hastings – on 11 September passengers can enjoy an exciting day out in this historic seaside town. A stroll on the recently renovated pier is a must. And don’t miss the chance to visit the quaint little shops in the Old Town.
