The trains on this line operate daily every day of the year. You will be travelling a
distance of 2,397 kilometres (1,489 miles) on this route on a nine-hour journey. The
main stops along the way include Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Guangzhou and
Shenzhen.
Hong Kong to Beijing train
The two trains (G79/G80) service the fastest train service between Hong Kong West
Kowloon and Beijing West stations. These 16-car high-speed trains offer travellers a
modern and very efficient way to travel. Each train has a large dining car that serves
hot and cold food and all carriages have generous windows so you can see a lot on
your journey. You can choose to travel in business, first and second class. One-way
fares for each class are as follows: business (US $507); first (US $259); second (US
$154).
